Karen Hester, performing as Dolly Parton, has a truly magnificent stage presence. She has impressed crowds country-wide, time and time again.Coming from a family of musical people where everyone either picked up an instrument or sang along to the tune of the hour, the stage is as close to her heart as her son. She started by singing at family reunions, gospel quartets and trios, and then started venturing into theatrical productions and country music. Drawing inspiration from Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Martina McBride and Dolly Parton, as Karen grew, so did her passion for music and performance. Now, she has been cast in regional and national commercials, acted in the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater shows at the House of Blues, featured in top production shows including Legends in Concert, Superstars Live in Concert, "The Dean Martin Show" at the Palace Theatre, and performed as an impersonator for "Dino's TV Variety Show".
