was formed by chance when German born bassist J.K. Kleutgens invited drummer
Marco
Minnemann to perform a series of clinics and concerts throughout Los Angeles,
California.
After meeting and playing with Marco, J.K. instantly thought the completion of
the band should be the
guitar duo Acoustic Journey, which included his brother Dirk K and American born
Dan Sistos on
Spanish guitars.
The quartet instantly hit it off and with only one rehearsal went on to perform
and record their
debut concert to a packed house at the world famous Baked Potato
in North Hollywood,
California. Today das ueberschall is touring the world exposing thousands of
people to their unique
style of music, while at the same time shattering all previous perceptions of
acoustic music.
This CD contains all the excitement and energy of their live show for you to
enjoy time and time again.
